NetEnt Given Go Ahead with License to Supply British Columbia

British Columbia’s gaming regulator, GPE, recently approved NetEnt as the supplier to the province’s only licensed gaming and lottery operator the BCLC. This corporation is owned by the province and directs all revenues towards community upliftment, education and health care.

In all the 10 provinces in Canada, the gaming market is regulated by separate licensing systems and the BCLC, since 1985 has been providing government-sanctioned lottery games in the British Columbia; having agreements with over 20 service providers in more than 40 locations.

NetEnt Americas LLC, a leading digital entertainment company founded in 1996, is a US subsidiary of NetEnt AB.  It provides premium gaming solutions to leading online casino operators around the world. This is an important milestone for NetEnt and is indicative of their strategy to expand further into regulated markets.
